About

Hi, I’m Joe Denner

I am the President and Founder of Alliant Leadership. As a busy husband, father, and entrepreneur I understand many of the challenges you are facing. Through my blog, podcast, and other resources, I am dedicated to providing you with fresh, relevant content that will assist you in becoming the leader God has created you to be.
My primary aim is helping entrepreneurs achieve their life purpose and become legacy builders.
There is a lot to unpack in that statement. It starts with the fact that I believe God created you on purpose and with a purpose. God has a wonderful plan centered in the person of Jesus Christ. You have been uniquely crafted by God to play an integral role in the unfolding of His plan.

Helping you explore and meaningfully connect with your purpose and live it out in a way that honors God is what drives me. By living out your purpose in intentional ways I believe you can build a truly lasting and God-glorifying legacy.

Let’s be clear. My interest lies not in helping you build a monument to yourself. Rather I believe in living in ways that create a lasting impact – hopefully setting off a ripple effect that will last for generations to come. This starts with your family. It reaches into the business God has given you to steward. It should also touch the community where He has placed you.

I would love to either help you get started down this road or help you gain a renewed clarity and focus on being faithful to the journey.

What Matters Most

As important as our businesses are, there are other things that are even more important, like our families. I know the challenge of work-life balance is something that has become increasingly difficult. We live in a society that is moving at a faster and faster pace and the demands of work and home are always right in in our faces.

I have been married to my lovely, talented wife Andrea for almost 30 years. She has been an inspiration to me and my biggest supporter all along the way. Together we have nine (yes, I said nine) wonderful children ranging in ages from 29 down to 8. They are a huge joy in my life and a big reason why I do what I do.

As crazy as the last year has been for many, we had some pretty exciting things happen in our family (updated January 2021). We had three weddings and two grandchildren born, plus we have two more grandchildren due in April. My heart is full of gratitude for the blessings God is bringing our way even as we grapple with the struggles of the fallen world we live in.

As important as our families are, an even more important part of life is our own personal relationship with God. It is the foundation for everything else. I have been a Christ-follower since my junior year of college. Growing in my walk with Jesus has been the single-most rewarding experience of my life. He has formed and shaped me into the man I am today through many ups and downs. He has been faithful.

I want to be a man whose passion for Christ and His kingdom leaves such an impression on my children, grandchildren, and others that they are challenged and encouraged to take up the baton themselves and create their own God-honoring, Kingdom-building legacy.
